The Royal Wedding is almost here! If you're like us, we've been counting down the weeks since the engagement was announced last year. Normally there is a long waiting period between the engagement and the wedding day, but in Harry and Meghan's case, they just couldn't wait!

While everyone else is buying the usual gifts and commemorative souvenirs like mugs, shirts, flags, etc. you might want something a little bit more DIY to please your crafty habits. Well, you’re in luck! Along with the usual commemorative pieces, there are also tons of crafty things you can buy or make to celebrate the Royal Wedding! Here are a few of our favourites.

Paper Dolls of Harry and Meghan

If you want something fun to buy for your kids (or yourself, we don’t judge), these cute paper dolls are bound to scratch your craft itch. Just like regular paper dolls, you can cut these ones out, and play dress-up with a few different outfits. The best part is they are expertly drawn to look just like the Royal Couple. Your kids (and you) will have a blast playing with these, and they should keep you busy until the Royal Wedding day on the 19th May 2018.

Royal Colouring Book

After you’ve had your fun playing with the paper dolls, it’s time to break out the coloured pencils, markers, and crayons! This Royal Colouring Book tells the love story between Harry and Meghan. Count down the days until the Royal Wedding and practice your colouring skills as you fill in the colours just as you imagine with this awesome commemorative colouring book.

Bake a Cake

Are you pretty good in the kitchen? Even if you aren’t, they say that practice makes perfect! The wedding between Harry and Meghan is expected to be different than many of the other weddings in a few different ways. Most notably, it is rumoured that their cake will be banana flavoured rather than the traditional fruitcake of other royal weddings. Get a taste of the cake they’ll be eating by baking your own. You have about a month until the wedding day—plenty of time to practice!

Assemble the Royal Carriage Model

The UGears Royal Carriage model is a limited edition model crafted especially for the Royal Wedding between Harry and Meghan. It is made from finely crafted wood and even has a hidden motor to keep it moving forward. The intricate pieces fit together perfectly, and many people will be able to assemble it with minimal experience in model making. Help pass the time and pre-order yours today!

Make Some Royal Biscuits

Break out those gingerbread men cutters from Christmas time, and it's time to make some biscuits for this special occasion! Some companies are selling commemorative biscuits shaped like Harry and Meghan, but if you're feeling crafty, baking your own is much better! You can decorate them however you like, and you can snack on them while you watch the wedding on TV.
