With the Royal Wedding only a few days away at the time of writing this, the suspense and anxiety are starting to get the best of us here at UGears. We’ve found that the best way to keep our patience at bay is to find royal wedding

themed activities to do during slow days. We figured that there is no use in keeping them to ourselves, so we’re here to share them with you!

The best part is that these aren't just for adults, but your whole family can take part in the royal fun!

Do a Royal Colouring Book

There are a few Royal Colouring Books available on the market depicting the love story between Harry and Meghan. Break out the coloured pencils, markers, and crayons, and you and your family can have a great time colouring in the lines (or maybe outside the lines). What colour should Meghan's dress be? What about Harry's outfit? It's all up to you! Let your imagination run wild.

Build a Model

Model making has long been a fantastic activity for the whole family. While you are all anxiously awaiting the wedding day, you could put together a special commemorative self-propelled model of their Royal Carriage! This piece was specially designed for the historic wedding and features the carriage, four horses, Harry and Meghan, and their drivers.

Each piece is carefully cut using a laser and is made from sustainably sourced wood. Although the kids might have a difficult time assembling the model by themselves, with a little adult supervision, the whole family can get the carriage up and running in almost no time! Crank the Royal Symbol on the back to wind the hidden motor and watch the carriage move forward on its own! These won’t last long, so make sure to get yours today!

Watch the Wedding Together

This one might seem a little self-explanatory, but since this wedding is so special, you should make sure that you and your family don’t miss your chance to watch! It will be broadcasted on TV on 19th May 2018. There will be tons of cool angles to see the wedding from, and even if you aren’t there, it will feel like you are. As an added bonus, the royal couple is actually inviting over 2,600 members of the public to attend the ceremony. Keep your fingers crossed, and maybe you and your family will receive invitations!

Learn Royal Family History

Do you think you’re a Royal Family trivia expert? Test your knowledge and teach your kids about the history of the Royal Family with some fun online trivia games. They’ll enjoy learning more about the history, and you’ll have a great time re-learning some of the history you might have forgotten!

How do you plan to celebrate the Royal Wedding in a few weeks? If you bring your family together to do a few of these activities, you’ll all feel closer, and will create memories to last a lifetime!
